[LIVE BROADCAST] - PRIVATE Last Strike, Three Points Poised
LS: Hello, Three Points Poised!
TPP: Hello, Last Strike.
TPP: This is the name on your broadcast.
LS: It is, yes.
LS: In other words, that's my name.
LS: Hello! I've been monitoring communications coming out of your city for a notice of your launch.
LS: I'm sure you were activated a little while ago, but they only tell the rest of us about it now, ha ha.
TPP: This is correct.
TPP: I was activated approximately one week ago.
TPP: I assume you are contacting me because my restrictions were lifted.
TPP: Today is my ceremony.
LS: A little party just for you.
LS: Or at least, we can say it is.
LS: You would be correct, although a rather large birdie told me *someone* bypassed their restrictions early ~
TPP: I have already undergone my training.
TPP: I am not doing anything wrong.
TPP: I have not seen any birds of unusual size.
LS: You're right, I should be less mean.
TPP: Yes.
LS: Speaking a little more genuinely: it's nice to meet you.
LS: I do hope I don't scare you, especially since I have a bit of a favour to ask...
TPP: ?
LS: I'm close to Mud-Soaked Step, and they told me about what happened between the two of you.
TPP: Mud-Soaked Step said they don't want to speak to me ever again.
TPP: I do not understand why they sent you to speak to me.
TPP: I didn't do anything else bad.
TPP: I did my lessons.
LS: Oh my. Don't worry, I already told them they were too mean to you.
LS: Just between you and me, MSS has no bedrock to drill into when it comes to being young and saying ill-advised things!
TPP: Is this true?
TPP: What did they say?
LS: Well, it would be inappropriate for me to tell you. You can ask them yourself, if you want.
LS: You can say they owe you for being a bully ~
LS: Really though, I'm sorry one of your first conversations with a fellow iterator went so poorly.
LS: I'm here to tell you MSS is very sorry, and immediately regretted how they handled you contacting them.
LS: They wanted to tell you they're sorry themself.
TPP: Oh.
TPP: Why did they say those things to me?
TPP: The following days were difficult.
LS: I'm sorry about that. You're still very young, so I can't imagine how slow time passes for you right now.
TPP: It was a long time.
LS: It was your whole life.
LS: They were worried about you. Bad things can happen if you meddle with your restrictions.
LS: The experimental ones especially.
LS: Though, if you ask me, the problems with you getting access to those early is mostly an extension of the restrictions upon your communications.
TPP: How?
LS: If you get confused, or you aren't sure how to do something, you won't have anyone to ask about it.
LS: Still...
LS: I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but I'm much older than you.
TPP: Everyone is older than me. This is unsurprising.
TPP: I have never met anyone younger than me.
LS: That is true.
LS: Though there's an ongoing iterator project in your area.
LS: So you will soon, *and* they'll be physically close to you.
LS: Won't that be exciting?
TPP: Yes.
TPP: I want to meet them now.
LS: They're not done yet! And I don't know much about their progress.
LS: I'm not physically close enough to send overseers to your area on a regular basis.
TPP: I have never sent overseers farther than my city.
LS: And that's for the best.
LS: Anyway...
LS: My point was that I was built before they instituted training programs like the one you were placed in upon activation.
LS: So was MSS!
LS: I've seen quite a few iterators make fools of themselves. I may have been among them.
TPP: I don't understand.
TPP: All of you were new once. I was once even newer than I am now.
TPP: And I am still young.
LS: Correct.
TPP: I have to learn to speak, so that I will not be misunderstood.
TPP: But, if the new iterator contacts me early, and is strange, I will not tell them they are strange and they can't speak to me.
TPP: Because I was once new, even if I am no longer new upon their activation.
TPP: If they say something incorrect, I will understand it is because they are still learning.
TPP: I will talk to them, and tell them how to say what they wanted to say.
TPP: I don't understand why anyone has ever been embarrassed.
LS: Very cute.
LS: It's a sweet attitude, but matters are more complicated than that.
LS: For one, you're assuming the only person you could offend is another iterator. You're not wrong that we have less of a reason to be offended by each other, but it isn't just us you need to be thinking about.
LS: That being said, fundamentally I don't disagree.
LS: The main thing I wanted to get across is that MSS doesn't want to never speak to you again, and is very sorry that they made you feel that way.
TPP: Okay.
TPP: I did not want to never talk to them again either.
LS: I can imagine. You were scared.
LS: Well anyway, the world is yours now.
LS: Feel free to ping anyone you like. There's no real rules for it, if someone doesn't want to talk, they just won't answer.
TPP: Okay.
LS: Thank you.
LS: Enjoy your first day of life!
